About The Currinton
Opened in August 2021, The Currinton is owned and operated by Andrew & Amanda T. Currin. The Currinton is a 2010 square foot event space in historic downtown Dunn. The space includes a 1140 square foot base floor , 342 square foot loft, two (2) bathrooms, and a catering prep area. Housed in the former historic Lucknow Department Store; the building was renovated by Councilmen Billy N. Tart in 2015. The Currinton aims to provide an intimate, classy occasions for all its guests.
The Small yet Intimate
Formed during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Currinton opened its doors to provide a small, intimate location for social functions. Andrew & Amanda were wed in 2020. During their wedding planning, they quickly learned the Harnett / Johnston / Sampson communities were lacking affordable, intimate event space. The Currinton is intended to provide event space for social events of all kinds such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, family gatherings, class reunions, Christmas parties, business meeting/luncheons, etc.
